SCHOOL HISTORY

Konola Academy is a private, boarding high school owned by the Seventh-Adventist Church in Liberia. Established 1935 by foreign missionaries as a boarding school for boys from grades 1 to 8,grew into a full high school for all genders and backgrounds from all parts of the country. ,Konola Academy became known as one of Liberia’s best brain trainer including medical doctors, pastors, and evangelists, administers, etc. 

The Academy is currently being managed by the Alumni and Friends of Konola Academy (AFKA). The association is a non-profit organization comprised of former students, friends,and faculty of Konola Academy who were fortunate enough to have experienced or heard about the spirit of the famed of Konola. In May of 2018, the Association entered into a MoU with the West Africa Union Mission of Seventh-Day Adventists to manage and operate Konola for 5 years.

The  School  has experienced numerous changes since it opened its doors on Konola,Margibi County, in 1935. In spite of the fact that things may see distinctive than they did all those a long time prior, the same warm, inviting environment is infectious the miniature you step foot into our doors.
